Celebrities caught cheating make good copy for the newspapers and gossip magazines; but in every story there is still a person being hurt, betrayed and humiliated. Oh dear, so Ashley Cole is at it again and poor old Cheryl suffers another humiliation! This news story from last month shows how often, even after divorce, us women just keep trying with our bad boy men! What is it about these guys that attracts us so much? Psychologists say that women are naturally inclined to try and “fix” the guy who is damaged..we are by nature nurturing, so we want to heal the man, cure him of his wicked ways. Men on the other hand would rather we women stayed as we are when they first meet us, a woman who needs fixing is “high maintenance” and they steer clear! Maybe we ladies should learn something from the guys?

Then we have Jesse James, oh so fond of his bad boy image he has to make comments on prime time TV about which of his girlfriends is best in bed! For those women out there who fret that their looks are what keep or don’t keep their man…go figure, Sandra Bullock, I would say an 11/10 kind of beauty, Jesse James, the cheating husband, on a good day 4/10, ugly, fat and mean! Yet he cheated on her..I guess having an affair was his way of dealing with the insecurity of being the lesser man in the relationship?? Hey, he just likes cheating, it goes with his image..but when that image gets just a teensy bit older..say like next year..who would want to cheat with him?
What I find extraordinary about these stories is that anyone having an affair tends to be knee deep in secrecy and guilt, but these celebrities seem oblivious to the fact that their very notoriety makes them prime targets to be caught cheating! They don’t just have their partner to worry about, half the gossip hungry media and many a Josephine Public are more than happy to catch them in the act!
What to do with serial cheaters who keep cheating??
Moral of the story? Cheats once, forgive, twice, take a deep breath…THREE TIMES??….run fast in the opposite direction??
