The mobile phone is no longer limited to text and the new phenomena that is sexting isn’t limited to words, very frequently the exchange consists of photos too. Public opinion is divided over what is cheating where online exchanges are concerned. However if you check out our forum and comments, you will see that for many women, online cheating is a horrible reality.
When do exchanges online become online cheating?
The exchange of compromising semi-nude or nude photos is certainly cheating, because it suggests intent. The intent would be to flirt, insanely near to bodily contact without really doing it. The problem here could be if the harmed spouse, felt the “sexter†meant to have bodily closeness with the person receiving the messages.

Sexting is not confined to words; all too often the exchange contains photos too, as in the case of Congressman Weiner whose locker room pictures got him into hot water. At this stage, the general public, if asked, might well say that the exchange of compromising semi-nude or nude photos is definitely cheating, as it implies intent. The intent is to flirt, outrageously close to actual physical contact without actually following through.
